Come sailing in the wonderful surroundings of the Sant Pol – S´Agaró bay in the heart of the Costa Brava (Girona). It is an ideal place for the practice of the catamaran due to its wind regime, mainly of thermal origin. Our sailing school is 10 minutes away from the urban center of Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Platja D’Aro.
Type of catamaran for rent
We have the Hobie Cat 15 catamaran: it is a stable catamaran, quite fast and noble in its manoeuvres, ideal for enjoying sailing on a catamaran and perfecting your level. It has a capacity to navigate with a minimum of 2 adults and a maximum of 4 adults.
What’s included in catamaran rental?
- Hobie Cat 15 catamaran boat with all accessories.
- 10 min test with the instructor.
- Rigging and unrigging of the boat.
- Dinghy sailing harness.
- Life jacket for each crew member (mandatory).
- Short or long neoprene for cold days.
- A place on the beach to leave personal belongings.
- Civil Liability Insurance (to third parties). It is not included a (own) Accident insurance that is at the user’s account.
Conditions to rent a catamaran
To sail on a catamaran, it’s not necessary to have any license or permit, but it’s necessary to have previous experience in sailing on a catamaran. A 10-minute navigation test will be carried out with one of our instructors to verify that the client has enough knowledge. If this sufficiency is proven, the instructor will leave the boat and the contracted rental time will begin.
In case this navigation experience sufficiency is not proven, the client can continue the activity with an instructor on board by paying the corresponding fee or can cancel the rental and 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
If you plan to rent a catamaran regularly, we have a 10-hour voucher so that you can rent throughout the season at your own rhythm.
